I can feel the quality of the spirit. Chichibu CHICHIBU 2010-2014 Ichiro's Malt OB for BAR BARNS #657 62.1% one of 227 bottles, Bourbon Barrel The aroma is stimulating and penetrating the nose, with vanilla, fresh orange, strong coconut, oak, young and strong barley. When drinking it, it's spicy and stimulating, with fresh citrus, vanilla, strong coconut shortbread, honey-like sweetness, strong barley notes with umami, and a long spicy finish. 【Good】 This Chichibu 2010 was bottled for Mr. Burns in Nagoya, matured in a bourbon barrel for about 4 years. As expected, the aroma is stimulating and youthful, with strong elements of fresh citrus, coconut flavor, vanilla, and young barley. When drinking it, it's still stimulating, with the same fresh citrus and vanilla notes as the aroma, along with a strong nuance of coconut shortbread. The sweetness is honey-like and rich, with the umami of barley. Although it's not complex due to its youth, it gives an impression that it is well-finished for the aging period. I can feel a good spirit quality with a strong barley flavor, and I can also clearly sense the components from barrel aging. It's enjoyable to drink at this point, and it's also a bottle that makes one look forward to the distillery's future.
