New Release: Wolfburn Official Aurora 46%

Wolfburn WOLFBURN OB AURORA 46% SHERRY OAK
Bottle #ウルフバーン(Wolfburn)
A gentle sweetness makes this young malt surprisingly easy to drink. Wolfburn WOLFBURN OB AURORA 46% SHERRY OAK The aroma is youthful, with fresh orange and candied apple, vanilla, sweet syrup, and a young grain note but without any harshness. When you drink it, the mouthfeel is light and smooth, with sweet notes of candied apple and syrup, a gentle sweetness from the grain, and a light, lingering finish. 【Good】 This is Wolfburn's official bottle called 'Aurora,' released in 2016. It is a fairly young malt at 46% ABV, and while it does feel quite youthful, its gentle sweetness like candied apple and surprisingly mild grain character make it easy to drink without any harshness. Although the dilution must have had an impact, this malt feels so soft and easy to drink that it's hard to believe it's only 46%. In fact, it feels slightly underdeveloped. This is still a very young distillery, and perhaps the spirit was designed to mature quickly. At least, it feels more developed than Wolfburn's first official release of 3 years old. Is there also a version designed for long aging? I'm looking forward to seeing what other bottles will be released in the future.
