It's intriguing that a major company released a blend centered around two minor malt types. There is no caramel addition, and thus no sherry-like notes in the color. However, the aroma conveys ripe fruits, a creamy milk chocolate sensation, and a rustic barley character. The smooth mouthfeel is impressive, with a well-balanced combination of moderate sweetness and astringency.
